Ramsey Police Department Chief's Message Welcome to the Ramsey Police Department web site. We are proud to be the primary law enforcement agency servicing Ramsey's residents and businesses. The dedicated officers and staff of this department are well-trained, equipped, and willing to provide the high quality police service that is expected. The mission of the Ramsey Police Department is to provide quality police services to our community through meaningful police/citizen partnerships. We emphasize proactive problem solving within our community to reduce rates of victimization and the fear of crime. The department offers Crime Prevention Programs including Neighborhood Crime Watch, Operation ID, Night to Unite, and kid's Safety Camp to name a few. The Patrol Division ensures public safety and protection of property through aggressive patrolling of all areas of the city, quick responses to police calls, and rigorous enforcement of city ordinances and state statutes.
