Annual Recruitment
At this time, applications are being accepted for all commissions. The application form allows applicants to rank their preferences of each board and commission. Applicants are encouraged to rank their preferences regardless of there being an opening or not. To be considered for a seat on the board or commission of your choice, please submit an online application by February 19, 2021.

Charter Commission
The Charter Commission is like a standing constitutional convention. It has the power to propose charter changes at any time.

Economic Development Authority (EDA)
The primary objective of the Economic Development Authority is to aid, assist and promote the growth and expansion of commercial, retail and industrial development in the City of Ramsey.

Environmental Policy Board (EPB)
The primary objective of the Environmental Policy Board is to review, consider, initiate and recommend to the City Council such policies, plans or projects, which will enhance and preserve the natural environment of the City.

Park & Recreation Commission
The primary objective of the Park and Recreation Commission is to monitor and reflect the attitudes and concerns of the citizens of Ramsey relative to the park system and recreation programs, and to advise the City Council of citizen attitudes and policy matters relevant to the park and recreation function in Ramsey.

Planning Commission
The primary objective of the Planning Commission is to advise the City Council on land use concerns. In addition, the Planning Commission shall serve as the planning agency and shall have the powers and duties given such agencies by state statute.
